Daily Thought

Romans 5:8, God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Love is not an issue.

1John 4:4, You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
Power is not an issue.

Romans 8:31, If God is for us, who can be against us?
Confidence is not an issue.

Ephesians 3:10, His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms.
Significance is not an issue.

Romans 8:1, Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Freedom is not an issue.

1Corinthians 15:56-57, The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Life is not an issue.

Romans 8:38-39, For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Eternity is not an issue.

I have nothing to add.
I can stand firm.
I can be still and know that He is God.

Jude 24-25, To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy- to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

To God's Glory,
Dave

Daily Prayer

God, You are our refuge and strength, always with us in times of trouble. We will not fear, though the earth shakes and the mountains quake. Whatever comes before us, You, the Lord Almighty, are with us. Greater is He who is in me than He who is in the world.

I will be still, and rest in the knowledge that You are God. You will be exalted among the nations, You will be exalted on the earth. The Lord Almighty is with us; You are our fortress. On this we take our stand and still our hearts.

Amen
